Photography Club |

Students participating in this club will be introduced to the different branches and style of photography. The students will be encouraged to incorporate their own tastes with the standard techniques of this craft. In this club we will learn the fundamentals of photography. This includes learning the history of photography to knowing how to use the different function of a digital camera. After advancing from camera techniques, students will be introduced to the latest photo-imaging/enhancing computer programs such as Adobe Photoshop. During the course of the school year we hope to take club members to a variety of scenic locations for opportunities to take pictures with their newfound skills. |

Folklore Entertainment Club |

A society’s fortunes, misfortunes, history, and traditions can be explained in their form of entertainment. In this club students will be immersed in different cultures and upbringings through games and exhibition. |

Soccer Club |

Throughout most of the world, soccer has been the most spectative and influential sport so we believe that introducing and cultivating this activity for our students is essential. Within this organization, students will be taught the basic techniques and tactics of soccer. As with most sports, students will learn redeeming social characteristics such as teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty, and decency. |

Karate Club |

Pinnacle Academy is offering Karate classes for our students in the afternoons. The classes take place Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00PM to 5:00PM. Karate classes are a wonderful opportunity for our students to work and learn together and enjoy the Japanese tradition. |

Future City Club |

The mission of the Future City Club is to provide a fun and exciting educational engineering program for seventh grade students that combines a stimulating engineering challenge with a "hands-on" application to present their vision of a city of the future.
WHAT IS FUTURE CITY? The Future City Competition, now in its 16th year challenges middle school students to create a city 150 years in the future. Students must first design their city using the SimCity 4 software, then build a large, table-top model of it. Each school works in teams with a teacher and volunteer engineer mentor. They also write an essay that describes the city and how specific engineering principles solve an important social needs. |
