Pinnacle Academy

We take great pride in the work that we do as a new private elementary-middle school in Vienna, VA and we are looking forward to real growth and achievement. Our reach goes beyond the academic and into the social and community arenas where the value of our message and the manner in which we serve changes lives.  It is our mission to help mold and prepare your children to face the conditions of today to bring a brighter tomorrow.

The Academy has carefully structured its curriculum and classroom to concentrate on the real needs of students in a changing economy and a more technology-based society. We believe that through challenging students to think hard and focus on math, science and foreign languages, that they will be well-equipped for this change. 

To facilitate this, we have selected technologies and applications for use in each classroom including the use of smart boards, internet access and computer applications.  As the classrooms have been designed for no more than 16 students, these new resources, coupled with the proper leadership, will help students reach new corners of the world that years ago we could have never imagined.

Pinnacle academy aims to reach world standards by providing more hours and more days than most private or public schools. Our working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm; actual classes start at 8:30 and end at 4:15. We provide 8 class periods and 1 period of after school activity which includes enrichment, sports clubs, regular clubs, and a movie/reading day.

Pinnacle Academy started with grades K-6, planning to establish a very good foundation at the elementary school level, and will continue as a middle and high school by adding one grade per year.

Since students need more affection and tenderness at younger ages, Pinnacle Academy has homeroom teachers in grades K-3 and subject teachers in 4th -7th grades. Thus older students have individual subject teachers and switch classrooms after each subject.

Besides the core subjects of English, Math, Science and Social Studies, Pinnacle Academy offers Computer, Art, Music, Foreign Languages, and P.E, which takes place at the Reston YMCA.

Our classes are equipped with high tech applications such as smart boards, computers and internet.

We have one class per grade with a maximum of 16 students for K-3 and 15 students for 4 -6. With our small class sizes, students have more opportunity to participate, ask questions, and receive individual attention from their teachers.

Pinnacle Academy also provides three foreign languages, which help students become better communicators and be aware of other peoples of the world.
