Pre K Thanksgiving Party
Written by Manette Barr

ImageOn Thursday, November 19th at 6pm a Thanksgiving Performance was given by the Pre-Kindergarten Class. The showcase included four songs about Thanksgiving, and 1 chant about Turkeys! Not only did the children rehearse for weeks, but they also made their own turkey hats just for the performance. All of the Pre-K students were very excited to perform for their families and friends, and couldn’t wait to be on “stage”! After the performance, all students and families celebrated the occasion by having refreshments, which were graciously provided by parents. Stay tuned for another Pre-Kindergarten Performance in the Spring! It will be the best yet!

The Newsletter Club's Dinner Out
Written by Mehmet Aslan

ImageThe Newsletter Club got the privilege to go to Red Lobster over at Fairfax, Virginia on Thursday, November 12th, 2009. The club members and supervisors got the opportunity to go and eat over at Red Lobster. We all enjoyed our visit, and came up with a review for the restaurant.

We reviewed the restaurant Red Lobster and gave it an average 4 ½ Stars! They had great customer service. They even gave us free shrimp and biscuits in the beginning while waiting for our orders to come. Their luxurious building was designed every bit of a sailors boat. It was very authentic and well thought out. The menu is rich with all kinds of sea foods, but was very pricy, especially when you visit in large numbers. Of course what else would you expect from a luxurious restaurant, the price at a fast food restaurant? Overall Red Lobster is easily at least a 4 Star Restaurant with its luxury foods, design, and catering.
