Pinnacle Academy Robotics team advanced to the State Level

First LEGO League, also known as FLL, helps young students and their coaches work together and solve a common problem. Students who join FLL competitions practice science, and technology in a fun atmosphere. They work hard to accomplish missions, set by the FLL organization.

We have Joined FLL Regional Level Competitions on November 17th, 2018. TechnoPumas have got the 2nd place for the robot performance and qualifying tournaments and advanced to the State level.

The State level competition took place between Dec 2-3 and we were so excited being there. There were 35 teams joined from different regions in Virginia. We have had tons of fun and experience.

FLL requires long term commitment and a huge sacrifice of time as it has four main components to accomplish; The Project, Robot Design & Coding, Robotics Game, and Core Values. It is not just a competition that decides top robotics performers but also helps students achieve values like collaboration, team work, respect and more. Throughout the season everyone in the team must act according to the Core Values.

It was a win win opportunity for all our students.

We look forward to upcoming FLL events in the future.
